The captivating, neorealistic drama of a boy who sets out on his path to manhood.
A Ciambra is a Romani community in the South of Italy where Pio and his family live in poverty. Though he is only fourteen, Pio does everything he can to grow up as fast and gain the respect of his older brother who he looks up to imitates in every possible way. It is with him Pio learns to steal cars, break into houses and commit a series of other less serious crimes. But it is when he decides to break into the wrong house that the problems begin… An enthralling drama that breathes new life into the Italian legacy of neorealism.
